Nicole is a Licensed Master’s Social Worker (LMSW) and Certified Holistic Health Coach. After completing her MSW in 2004 at Hunter College in New York City, she worked in the criminal justice field providing clinical therapy, program development and management, and graduate student supervision. Nicole became a Holistic Health Coach after graduating from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in 2012. She provides individual and group health and wellness counseling and facilitates community based workshops, as well as serving as a Student Coach at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She also completed a two-year apprenticeship in 2012 in Herbal Medicine at the Sacred Vibes Apothecary in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn.
Nicole brings a unique blend of these elements into her coaching practice. By looking at the individual as a whole being, connecting the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects, she assists clients in healing themselves wholly. She can especially assist those suffering from depression, stress and anxiety who are seeking alternative approaches to managing these conditions. She helps women learn to fully nurture, love and accept themselves, developing a positive relationship with food.
Recently, Nicole relocated from New York to New Orleans to focus on holistic health and wellness full-time. Outside of her professional roles, she volunteers with a community organization dedicated to post-Katrina recovery work. She also spends time working on community farms to expand her knowledge of healthy and sustainable harvesting practices.
